The Consumer Medicine Information (CMI) for GlucaGen® HypoKit states ‘GlucaGen® HypoKit should be stored at room temperature (i.e. less than 25°C). Avoid freezing to prevent damage to the glass syringe.’

It is preferred that GlucaGen® Hypokit be stored at room temperature (below 25°C) because cold fluids tend to sting more when injected, but refrigerating the product will not damage it. If refrigerated storage is used, be careful not to freeze the product as this may cause damage to the glass syringe which may compromise the sterility of the water for injection.
