Novo Nordisk response to Public Summary Document:

An application for the PBS listing of liraglutide (Victoza®) for type 2 diabetes was evaluated by the Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee (PBAC) in November 2011 and was not recommended for approval.  Novo Nordisk is extremely disappointed that there has been a further delay in the listing of liraglutide on the PBS.  However, Novo Nordisk remains committed to working with the all stakeholders to find a way forward in order to make liraglutide available for people with type 2 diabetes in Australia.
